Anna Bara

Anna Bara

Anna Bara is a PhD researcher at the Department of History and Civilization of the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. She studied history at the Novosibirsk State University in Russia. She obtained a Master Degree in Eastern European History from the Central European University in Budapest and Master of Research from the European University Institute. During her five months stage at the European Commission, she worked at the Lisbon Strategy Task Force of the Secretary General. Her duties were to follow-up activities carried-out by the Committee of Regions and the European Economic and Social Committee. In 2010-2011, she became a research assistant to the project Technology in the Making of Twentieth Century Europe with research focus on transport. She was responsible for finding relevant documents in the Historical Archives of the European Union to the Governance volume of the Making Europe book series. She is also involved in education at the American Studies Association in Florence, Italy.
